<h3>What is dot fun?</h3>dot fun is Transient Labs’ experimental playground for building and launching micro-apps that push the boundaries of creativity, tech, and fun in Web3. Upcoming apps like Dynamic Art Engine (a no-code tool for dynamic and generative art), Handshake (on-chain agreements between parties), and Thrift Store Contracts (enabling donation and claiming of unwanted digital assets) show how dot fun is a platform driven by innovation, community participation, and creative solutions to real-world problems.While we’re constantly creating and building new concepts ourselves, we believe some of the best ideas come from the community. This initiative is a way for everyone—whether you're technical or not—to share your ideas and have the opportunity to see them come to life within the dot fun ecosystem.<h3>What We’re Looking For</h3>We want your ideas for simple yet innovative apps that can live within the dot fun ecosystem. Whether it's a cool utility tool, a fun interactive game, or a creative way to solve real-world problems with Web3 (or Web2.5), your idea could be the next big thing!The best ideas should:<ul><li>Encourage creativity and interactivity—think about tools or games that are easy to use and fun to engage with.</li><li>Foster long-term engagement—focus on concepts that motivate users to return regularly, creating sustained interest and interaction.</li><li>Where possible, use Web3 features (e.g., NFTs, smart contracts, ERC-20’s), but Web2.5 ideas are also welcome.</li><li>Bonus: Aim to generate/maximize on-chain interaction for potential revenue through transaction fees. The winner will receive perpetual revenue kickbacks from the app built based on their idea!</li></ul><h3>Submission Guidelines</h3><ol><li>Concept: Describe your idea clearly. Please utilize graphics, images, flow charts, etc. to explain your app idea and how it might work.</li><li>Functionality: Explain how users will engage with the app.</li><li>Value: Describe what problem it solves or what new experience it offers.</li><li>Engagement: Highlight how the app will drive user engagement and social sharing.</li></ol><h3>Prizes &amp; Incentives</h3><ul><li>$10,000 Prize: The winning idea will receive a cash prize and be developed by Transient Labs as part of dot fun.</li><li>Perpetual Kickback: If your app generates on-chain transactions, you’ll earn a cut of the protocol fees, giving you ongoing revenue as the app grows.</li></ul><h3>Why Get Involved?</h3>We’re not just building apps; we’re building a community.
